WHAT IF THE TIREDNESS ISN’T ABOUT SLEEP?

It could be NAD+. This essential coenzyme, found in every cell in your body, is what your cells use to produce energy - and it naturally declines as you age, often before you’d expect.

THE SCIENCE

Dr Mark Jinks: The Science of NAD+

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a vital coenzyme found in every cell. It helps convert food into energy (ATP), fuels cellular repair, and supports key processes like metabolism, DNA repair, and circadian rhythms.

As we age, NAD+ levels decline significantly, often dropping by more than half by our 60s. This loss is linked to reduced cellular function, increased inflammation, and other signs of aging.

Maintaining healthy NAD+ levels is a central focus of modern longevity science.

What NAD+ does inside your cells

01 What NAD+ is

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found naturally in every cell of the body. A coenzyme is a helper molecule that enzymes need in order to do their work.

02 Energy metabolism

NAD+ takes part in the chemical reactions inside your mitochondria that turn the food you eat into ATP, the molecule cells use as energy.

03 Enzyme partner

Several enzyme families, including sirtuins and PARPs, rely on NAD+ to function. How these enzymes work is an active area of scientific research.

04 Where it comes from

Your body makes NAD+ from building blocks in food, such as forms of vitamin B3. Cells use it constantly and recycle it to make more.

05 Daily rhythm

NAD+ levels in the body rise and fall over the course of the day, in step with your internal body clock.

06 How levels change

Research shows that NAD+ levels tend to fall as we get older. This is one reason NAD+ is a growing focus of scientific study.

THE COST

Compare it to the alternative, and £350 looks different.

NAD+ IV therapy typically costs up to £800 for a session - and most clinics recommend repeating them every four to six weeks, plus a consultation each time. Some providers quote £1,800 for an introductory course alone.

NAD+ 4u Pen Starter Kit is an investment of £350 (or from £280/month on subscription) for a 30-day supply of self-administered doses at home.

Why the Pen

No clinic.
No appointment.
No learning curve.

The Pen is designed to fit into your day, not the other way round. No vial to draw up, no clinic chair, nothing to schedule - it takes just a couple of minutes, wherever you happen to be.

Your kit ships with a travel casebuilt for exactly that: through an airport, in a gym bag, or away for a weekend, not just sitting in a fridge athome.

At home · On the road · A couple of minutes · No appointment needed
